Owned by the same family as Leoville Barton this Moulis en Medoc is fine example of a classic Bordeaux. Comprised of 48% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, with ageing taking place in French oak barrels for 12-15 months of which 1/3 of the barrels are new oak. 

Flavours of blackcurrant, ripe strawberry, dark plums and touch of graphite are followed by vanilla, cedar, leather and a touch of cigar box. 

The age of the wine has allowed the tannins and acidity to integrate well forming a great structure and a fabulous finish.
