Named after Carlos Billanueva (C.B.), the cellarmaster who in the early XIXth century marked the casks containing the best wines with his initials.
On the nose this wine shows delicate almond and floral tones. The palate has a refreshing finish and softness, making it delightfully easy to drink.
Technically this is actually a still wine rather than a fortified sherry as the alcohol has reached 15% without fortification as the Pedro Ximenez grapes have higher sugar levels than the traditional Palomino grapes used for fino.
