The Grant family have been at the helm of this beautiful Highland distillery for 150 years. Nestled at the foot of Ben Rinnes mountain, the elements play a key role in the production of Glenfarclas. From the crytal clear spring water bubbling up from the granite slopes of the mountain and fed by the melting snows of winter, to the cool Highland climate which lends Glenfarclas whisky the ability to age whiskies for exceptionally long time in oak. The Glenfarclas Single Malts are a time capsule of the Highlands.
Maturation is always in finest European oak casks previously used for top quality Oloroso sherry, hand picked by current incumbent John Grant.
The core range of whiskies consists of 10 to 30 year old bottles, but connoisseurs of Scotch are also offered the opportunity to pick up rare single cask vintage whiskies from the Glenfarclas Family Cask Selection.
