Only 118 cases of this single vineyard Shiraz were produced showing off the unique terroir of the McIntyre vineyard. Dark purple red with a rich dark fruited nose of blackcurrant, salted plums, chopped rosemary, sage and thyme, roasted lamb and licorice root. Savoury and dry on the finish with delicious red sour plum, licorice, black pepper and star anise. Long on the finish, with firm, fine tannins. 14%
Wild yeast fermentation followed by 100% French oak maturation (20 % new barrels) then 16 months in wood. Unfined and unfiltered.
