2014 Philippe et Vincent Jaboulet Ermitage, France
A relatively young domaine established after the sale of the great Paul Jaboulet Ainé in 2006. Philippe and his son Vincent some of the original holdings and have acquired additional vineyards in Crozes-Hemitage. This rare white Ermitage is from single one hectare plot and is made entirely from 40 to 50 year old Roussanne vines.
A golden yellow with lemon oil and honeysuckle aromas. Very polished and persistent in the mouth with notes of lightly toasted almonds, tangerine and citrus peel. The perfect match for guinea fowl or slightly fully flavoured poultry.
