100% Sangiovese grown on West/North West slopes allowing an extended ripening season. Handpicked, wild yeast fermentation for 30 days. Maturation in Slavonian oak barrels of varying sizes for 30 months followed by additional time in bottle before release. On the palate the wine is deep and dark yet light-footed and subtle. Immediate flavours of juniper, smoked meats and dark wild berries.
