Hans Herzog Tutored Tasting and Supper
Thursday 11th August 7pm to 9.30pm
Hans Herzog is one of the small producer icons of the New World. Originally from Switzerland’s Rhine Valley, where they created a reputation for both fine food (Michelin star) and hand-crafted wines, Hans and Therese transported their dream to Marlborough, New Zealand, where they planted their first vines in 1996. Over the past 25 years, a new tradition has evolved of Hans’s fine wines alongside Therese’s much applauded dining in their small restaurant.
Despite their small size and production, the wines from Hans Herzog are recognised throughout the wine world as both brilliant and unique, representing Old World philosophy and style within the context of New Zealand. Caviste is the only merchant in the UK that imports the full range of wines. Enjoy this unique opportunity to taste the range, hear the story from Maria Mencattelli (Sales & Marketing, Hans Herzog) in person and enjoy charcuterie boards and a home cooked meal to complement the wines.
