The noble sweet site wines stand for the strictest selection, very late harvest paired with a very low yield of well under 5 hectoliters per hectare. 

The Schlossberg is located north-west of Saulheim. This west-facing Saulheim location is at an altitude of 170 to 235m. The entire location is characterized by deep clay and limestone marl soils with iron oxides, which warm up very slowly, but store heat and water extremely well.

Tasting Note: Abundant notes of yellow stone fruit (quince, mirabelle plum) and honey, mingled with marzipan, dried fruit and subtle flint smokiness present on the nose. A luxurious palate perceives a complementary balance between the concentrated fruity sweetness and a zesty, revitalizing acidity.
