Malbec

Malbec, originally from Bordeaux, France, has found its true home in Argentina, particularly in the Mendoza region.

Argentine Malbecs are known for their deep colour, full body, and flavours of black plum, blackberry, and cocoa, often with a velvety texture. In Cahors (France), Malbec is more rustic, with firmer tannins, black fruit, and earthy notes. The high-altitude vineyards in Argentina lend a unique freshness and balance to the wines, making them highly popular worldwide.
