The Wines of England
We're proud to say that England is producing some truly world class wines, especially the sparkling.
The counties of Sussex, Kent, and Hampshire are key regions, benefiting from a cool climate and chalky soils similar to Champagne. English Sparkling, made predominantly from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, are celebrated for their high acidity, crisp green apple, citrus flavours, and toasty notes.
Still wines, particularly Bacchus, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir are known for their quality and elegance, with increasing international acclaim, too.
