Shipping policy

We're passionate about making sure your wine arrives on time and in pristine condition. We aim to deliver all orders within 3 working days between the hours of 10am and 4pm unless specified otherwise, but please say if you require next day delivery (orders before 2pm) and this can be arranged at an additional cost as well as Saturday deliveries. 

All deliveries are made on our own vans or via our couriers.


DELIVERY RATES TO UK MAINLAND

FREE DELIVERY on orders £140 and over (some exclusions apply)

£10.95 on orders under £140.

*Excludes Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland

Our courier will attempt to deliver the wine twice. If the recipient fails to accept the delivery or to respond to the calling cards, the wine will be held for collection at the courier’s depot for 5 working days. After this the wine will be returned to Caviste. We unfortunately have to charge for delivery again if you need us to resend the wine. Every effort will be made to ensure the wine is delivered first time. However it is the delivery recipient’s responsibility to communicate convenient delivery dates to Caviste or to our courier.

 

NON-STANDARD DELIVERY RATES

The following delivery services are not available on our website, but can be arranged by calling us on either 01256 703130, alternatively email us at wine@caviste.co.uk

  • UK mainland next day by 9.30am timed parcel delivery
  • UK mainland by 9.30am Saturday timed parcel delivery
  • Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles, Isle of Man, Highlands & Scottish Islands


EUROPEAN DELIVERY RATES

We can also offer delivery to most European Union countries. Prices on application.

All courier deliveries are sent via APC www.apc-overnight.com/index.php and APC Euroconnect www.apc-overnight.com/delivery-europe.php

Please note that additional costs (tax, duty etc.) may be levied by the destination Customs and Excise Services, and that it is your responsibility to pay for any additional costs applied to your order once the wine reaches the destination country.

 

DELIVERY ISSUES & ERRORS

We endeavour to deliver your package promptly, in perfect condition, and to the correct address, in accordance with your instruction.

If, for whatever reason, you have any issues with your delivery - for example: damaged packaging, missing bottles, order not received - then they must be raised within 30 days of the order being placed. Issues raised at a later date cannot be actioned.
