Viognier
Viognier can divide opinion. Examples can be rich, full, and fragrant, others mineral.
Its most distinguished expression in the Rhône Valley’s Condrieu (France), where they are known for their lush, aromatic qualities, with peach, apricot, and honeysuckle, often accompanied by a creamy texture. Elsewhere, particularly Australia and New Zealand, Viognier reveals a tropical fruit profile with pineapple and mango notes with floral and spice nuances, creating a well-rounded wine.
