The 2022 warm summer season provided optimal ripening conditions, resulting in a beautifully fruit-forward wine with a stunning colour.

We love this rosé for its versatility and approachable style, where it's fantastic as a crisp, fresh, aperitif, or robust enough to stand up to barbecued fish and summer vegetable risotto.

Tasting Note: A light and elegant wine, with a pink salmon colour. This is bursting with wonderful aromas of fresh pomegranate and raspberry, creamy notes and subtle hints of white blossom and fresh cut hay following through to the palate. Dry and smooth, with delicate yet lively acidity.

We would pair this simply with marinated anchovy fillets or a mackerel pâte, but it will also pair beautifully with a prawn risotto or a grilled fish dish. Low in alcohol, medium body with a refreshing and balanced acidity and a long dry finish.

Hattingley Valley

From its birth as a farm diversification project back in 2008, Hattingley has grown to become one of the leading wineries in the UK, based in rural Hampshire (just down the round from Caviste!).

The Robinson family made their initial steps in 2008 by planting the first vineyard on some of the farmland, but had no idea that it would lead to where it has, today.

Now, their site has a purpose-built, eco-friendly winery, that was constructed under the guidance of their Head Winemaker and Director, Emma Rice.

They are serious - and seriously good - winemakers, but they love to have a little fun , so expect the unexpected, embrace the unconventional, throw off the shackles of tradition and try the remarkable wines of Hattingley Valley.
