On our journey discovering the greatest vineyards of the world, and following our very successful Lebanese tasting last month, hosted by Faouzi Issa of Domaine des Tourelles, I am pleased to announced that the next tasting will be about Portugual and it's beautiful wines on Thursday 24th May from 6.30pm.

Recently voted Capital of European tourism, Portugal is one of the most trendy destination of holidays from the Algarve to Lisbon or Porto, but there are still many mysteries about the wines produced .

Our dear friend and Portuguese wine expert Dr Max Driscoll is joining us and will host a tutored tasting of carefully selected wines from the Algarve to the Vinho Verde regions, and we will have some Portuguese inspired finger food matching cooked by the Newlyns cookery School Chef.

Max is an academic and after his passion for Enzymes has dedicated his life learning about Portugal and becoming an ambassador of Portuguese wines, he is extremely knowledgeable, and the both of us will try to answer all your questions about this amazing country.
