The Wines of the USA
The United States of America produces some incredible wines across all styles and prices.
The Napa Valley is synonymous with world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, featuring bold blackberry, cassis, and oak flavours. Sonoma County excels with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the former offering buttery tropical fruit notes and the latter bright red fruit and earthy characteristics.
Outside of California, Oregon’s Willamette Valley is celebrated for its elegant Pinot Noir, showcasing cherry, raspberry, and floral aromas. Washington State is known for its Syrah and Merlot, producing wines with dark fruit, spice, and a plush texture.
