New Arrivals: A Tale of Two Hemispheres

Two new wine arrivals have given us great excitement:
V Sauvignon Blanc & Cantine Povero Cabanè.
The new 2022 vintage of the popular V Sauvignon comes from the Awatere Valley that runs south from Marlborough inland and parallel to the South Island’s. Ripe, crisp and vibrant this is a quite outstanding cool climate Sauvignon Blanc.
But, what has got us turning somersaults with wine excitement is the fabulous red blend from our new friends in Piedmont: Cantine Povero. What happens when you add Cabernet Sauvignon to the local varieties Nebbiolo and Barbera, then age in large old oak barrels for over two years? You'll have to find out for yourself.
