Rich, dense, spicy, smokey and oh so classy, this is a wine that punches way above it's meager £11.95 price tag. You'll find the vineyards 1100m above sea level in the Uco Valley at the foot of the Andes mountains where the altitude tempers the heat of the sun to provide the perfect ripening conditions for this seductive grape variety. 6 months in oak adds a hint of vanilla to the dark fruit, coffee and chocolate flavours. Happy to be drunk on its own as well and with a range of meaty dishes.
