This 2018 vintage is a radiant expression of Sauternes, with its brilliant golden hue and captivating aromatics. The higher proportion of Sauvignon Blanc (25%) lends a unique freshness to the wine.

The 2018 Château Rieussec is crafted with precision, beginning with individual pressing of each batch in pneumatic presses. After cold settling, the juice ferments in new oak barrels, carefully balancing alcohol and residual sugar. The wine matures for 24 months in barrel, during which its flavours and aromas develop into a seamless blend of fruit, spice, and oak.

Tasting Note: With vibrant notes of citrus, honey, and candied apricots harmonising with whispers of almond and toasted bread. On the palate, it is robust yet refined, with citrus brightness and a delicate bitterness adding layers of complexity. A long, spiced finish rounds out this enchanting vintage, promising evolution and intrigue for years to come.
