The 2017 Silverado Vineyards Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a true delight from the heart of Napa Valley's Stags Leap District.

Crafted from a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, and a dash of Cabernet Franc, this wine spent 18 months ageing in oak, nearly half of it new. The result is a well-structured and balanced wine, with perfectly ripe cherry, plum, and a touch of apricot mingling with toasted oak.

This 2017 vintage is a gem from Silverado Vineyards, a pioneer in the Stags Leap District. With over 300 acres across some of Napa’s most celebrated AVAs, Silverado continues to craft luxury wines that capture the essence of Napa Valley.

Silverado Vineyards

Silverado Vineyards, nestled in the heart of Napa Valley's Stags Leap District, is a true gem with a rich history. Established in 1981 by Ron and Diane Miller, along with Lillian Disney, the winery was created to craft exceptional wines from their estate's historic vineyards. Before that, they had supplied grapes to neighbouring wineries, but soon realised it was time to produce their own expression of the Napa Valley they cherished.

The name "Silverado" comes from the historic vineyard surrounding the winery, inspired by the nearby abandoned mining town. With over 300 acres of vineyards spread across Napa's most celebrated AVAs, including Miller Ranch in Yountville and Mt. George in Coombsville, Silverado Vineyards has been a pioneer in the region since the 1960s.

Today, under the ownership of Bill and Carol Foley and led by Courtney Foley, Silverado continues to honour its founders' vision, crafting estate-grown, produced, and bottled luxury wines that truly capture the essence of Napa Valley.
