If Pinot Noir were a landscape, the 2020 Valli Bendigo would be a sun-soaked mountainside: powerful, warm, and full of life.

Sourced from the elevated Lakefront Terrace in Bendigo, the grapes thrive in windblown loess, mineral-rich clay, and quartz-speckled soils.

A blend of Pinot clones - 777, 5, Abel, 115, and 943 - was carefully harvested and vinified to preserve the bold yet refined essence of Bendigo. After fermentation, the wine was aged to enhance its structure, developing depth and layers that reflect the vineyard’s unique terroir.

Tasting Note: Deep ruby hues lure you into a bouquet of dark Ghana chocolate, cedar, blackberry, Portobello mushrooms, and a burst of fresh Bing cherries. Beneath the fruit, earthy undertones and floral whispers of lilac create an intoxicating complexity. On the palate, it’s a dance of ripe dark fruits, umami depth, and spices, wrapped in vibrant acidity and fine tannins. This Pinot is playful yet serious, with a long, memorable finish and the power to age beautifully over the next 15+ years.
