2021 Domaine Belleville Chambolle-Musigny 'Les Drazeys'
"Les Drazeys" owes its name to Old French "Dressière", a term for a short-cut, befitting its location where several lanes converge in Chambolle Musigny.
Clay-limestone soil characteristics predominate in the middle of the slope, with a greater concentration of clay. Extensive de-budding of these 40+ year old vines was employed to ensure quality through reduced yields and enhanced precision.
Tasting Note: Raspberry, strawberry and earthy components are present on the palate. This Chambolle-Musigny yields soft and ripe tannins with a round and powerful finish. It is noted for its finesse and elegance.
