Port Askaig 100 Proof is a cask-strength Single Malt with notes of sweet fruit, peat smoke and minerality, making it a benchmark Islay Whisky and great everyday peaty dram. A consistent favourite among Whisky enthusiasts.

An initial sweet oakiness gives way to sweet, almost caramel peatiness along with lime zest, saltiness and brine. The palate is initially fresh, sweet and quite salty before the drying peat smoke comes through. Earthy and slightly bitter, the smoke element is more restrained than you might imagine. The finish is long drying and slightly salty with a lingering bonfire smoke.
