The 2015 growing season in Bairrada featured a mix of cool, wet winters and warm, sunny summers. Early August ripeness checks revealed the grapes were maturing quickly, prompting a harvest start on 25 August. The old-vine Baga was vinified using a combination of traditional open lagares and stainless steel tanks, allowing for a perfect extraction of colour and flavour. After malolactic fermentation in 2500L wooden vats, the wine aged unhurriedly for 48 months, gaining depth and finesse before being bottled unfiltered in July 2019.
