After harvesting by hand, the grapes are sent in small baskets to the winery, where, after expert foot treading and fermentation in stone lagares, the Mouchão rests in barrels made of Portuguese oak, macacaúba and mahogany for at least four years. It thus grows in all its intensity, character and robustness, but will still have to mature in the bottle for another 3 years.

This wine boasts an intense garnet colour and alluring scents of dark fruits, ripe plums, and earthy herbs, complemented by refreshing hints of mint, eucalyptus, and herbaceous stems. An impeccable freshness and structure, perfectly balanced with luxurious and sophisticated tannins that guarantee a lifetime of enjoyment.
