Fermented in stainless steel to retain its distinctive purity, a hint of Ripasso-style richness is added to the mix with a touch of desiccated grapes.

Trastullo Wines

In 1612 master printmaker Jacques Callot travelled to Florence to work for the notorious Medici family, here he produced a series of etchings documenting the rich variety of life that he found. Following in his footsteps 400 years later, we too have discovered what makes Italy so special.

'Trastullo' is a character in Commedia dell 'Arte, an early form of professional theatre which originated in Italy in the 16th Century. It also happens to mean something which gives you great enjoyment in an archaic Italian dialect, which is the perfect description for all Trastullo wines.
