2022 Durigutti Aguijon de Abeja Obrera Malbec

£17.95

Crafted in the Alto Valle de Río Negro in Patagonia, this Malbec is a tribute to Argentina's rich terroirs and the diligent spirit of the worker bee. With each sip, it honours the land and the dedication behind its creation.

Grapes are harvested from 70-year-old vines in sandy and stony soils, undergoing an 8-day cold maceration before fermenting with native yeasts. The wine is aged for 7 months in seasoned French oak, preserving its natural character and purity.

Pairing Suggestions: Perfect with grilled lamb, roasted vegetables, or a hearty mushroom risotto.

Tasting Note: Bright blackberry and black cherry flavours are framed by fresh acidity and velvety tannins. A clean, vibrant finish completes this elegant red.
