Legend has it that a Puerto Rican pirate used bottles of this white rum, coconut and pineapple perfection to keep his crew happy. But the recipe was lost with his death in 1825. Until more recently (and less piratey), the Caribe Hilton Hotel said that its bartender Ramón “Monchito” Marrero created the first one in 1954. But whatever you believe, we’ve captured all that Caribbean magic just for you.
