Bepi Tosolini, born in 1918, founded his first distillery in Friuli, near Venice, in 1943. With a vision to elevate grappa from its humble origins to a world-renowned spirit, Bepi dedicated over 75 years to perfecting his craft. In the 1950s, he established Italy’s largest grappa cellar, using ash wood barrels for aging. His wife Giovanna was his constant muse and partner in the distillery.
Bepi’s dedication and charm made him a beloved figure across Italy, and his legacy continues with his children and grandchildren.
