2022 Rusden Ripper Creek Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon
Indulge in the timeless Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, harvested from Rusden's hand-tended vineyard in Vine Vale.
After open fermentation, basket pressing, and ageing in old casks in the family winery, this traditional blend captures the essence of the 1960s and 70s when these wines were a beloved choice for many.
Tasting Note: Dense nose of plum, blackberries and wood spice. The palate is rich and luscious with dark fruits and cocoa. With a higher percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon than previous vintages, there is blackberry compote and distinctive herbal tones framed by moderate tannins and some cedar to finish.
