2021 Domaine Belleville Rully 1er Cru 'Chapitre' Blanc
This area is renowned for its proximity to the Saint-Vincent de Chalon Cathedral, home to the renowned 'Chapter' of clerics who observe monastic guidelines.
The 45+ year old vines are on a clay-limestone soil composition and planted in a mid-slope. This position, combined with reduced buds, resulted in heightened refinement and purity.
Tasting Note: This Rully 1er Cru 'Chapitre' Blanc presents notes of ripe, stewed white fruit and toasted bread on the nose. On the palate, its round, juicy character is complemented by a refreshingly long finish with a hint of salinity.
