Chateau Musar Arack is a refined aniseed-flavoured spirit that honours Lebanon’s traditional distillation techniques. Made from grape alcohol aged for an average of five years, this Arack is a sophisticated digestif that captures the essence of the Bekaa Valley.

The production process involves four meticulous distillations, with anis seeds added during the final stage to impart a subtle yet distinctive anise note. Following distillation, the spirit is aged for one year in terracotta amphorae, which lend delicate liquorice aromas and further smooth the palate.

This Arack is celebrated for its surprising smoothness and balanced sweetness, offering a purity of flavour that stands as a testament to careful craftsmanship and time-honoured tradition.

Chateau Musar is a revered producer in Lebanon that honours ancient winemaking traditions with a modern, minimal intervention approach.

The Hochar family manages 220 hectares of Musar vineyards, nestled in the sun-drenched Bekaa Valley, with a deep respect for nature, allowing the land to speak for itself.

Having achieved organic certification for its own vineyards in 2006, Chateau Musar continues a legacy that dates back to 1930 when Gaston Hochar planted his first vines after returning from Bordeaux.
