An exquisite white wine that's lightly oaked and utterly delicious.

The grapes are sourced from the Drouhin Family Properties and select partners, adhering to strict specifications, with the fruit all hand-harvested in open-work crates with careful sorting, for quality and flavour.

Slow pressing in a pneumatic press, with separation of the last press juice from the free-run juice, followed by transfer to wine barrels after light settling.

Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, as well as ageing, took place in oak barrels, with 10-15% new barrels. The ageing process lasted 12 to 14 months.

Tasting Note: A very typical wine, representative of its terroir. A nice white golden hue, sometimes with a greenish touch. Very fine aromas of honeysuckle and ripe yellow plums, evolving towards honey and gingerbread. On the palate, straightforward and lively at first, then a certain roundness. A mineral quality that underpins the wine; a hallmark of Saint-Romain.
