Join us for a rather special and unique Steak and Malbec evening at Caviste Newlyns.

We shall be joined by Bodega Sottano ‘virtually’ from Mendoza in Argentina who will talk us through their amazing selection (one sparkling, two whites and five reds).

The final ‘show’ wine will be the very first bottle to be opened in the UK of Bodega Sottano 'El Beso de Judas', the first of only 24 bottles to be shipped to the UK. 

A blend of four vintages and three grapes (Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat) this is called 'Act 1' – the very first time this wine has been released. 

Every guest will have the opportunity to buy just one bottle of this wine should they approve (though the price is not cheap!). 

Our chef will grill two steaks over charcoal – one from Newlyns own beef herd and the other specially imported from Argentina accompanied by fried potatoes and salad.
