2023 Domaine de la Graveirette Côte du Rhone

£21.00

The 2023 Domaine de la Graveirette Côtes du Rhône is a vibrant, single-varietal Grenache that marries ripe red fruit intensity with fresh minerality; a captivating choice for fans of biodynamic Rhône rouges.

The 100% Grenache grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness, destemmed and fermented in concrete vats, then aged for eighteen months in the same vessels to preserve purity. This concrete élevage enhances the wine’s freshness, allowing subtle phenolic textures to develop without oak influence.

This Côtes du Rhône stands out for its delicate balance of power and finesse. Sourced exclusively from top-quality village vineyards and farmed biodynamically, this is an elegant yet richly flavoured wine that speaks directly of its origin.

Pairing Suggestions: Delightful with Provençal lamb stew, ratatouille, herb-grilled pork chops or a platter of charcuterie and aged cheeses.

Tasting Note: Bright ruby with violet rim; aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and garrigue herbs; the palate shows juicy cherry, white pepper and fine mineral tension, finishing long and vibrant.

Origin: Côtes du Rhône, Vaucluse, France

Alcohol: 14% vol

Blend: Grenache

Domaine de la Graveirette

Julien Mus founded Domaine de la Graveirette in 2005 upon returning to his native Bédarrides after winemaking studies in Beaune. Nestled between Orange, Avignon and Carpentras, the estate embraces biodynamic farming across parcels that span sandy, pebble?studded soils at the foothills of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail. Julien’s commitment to crafting wines of character and terroir guides every vineyard decision.
