The 2015 Prima Donna Pinot Noir ‘Aged Release’ is a rare opportunity to experience a perfectly cellared expression of Pegasus Bay’s reserve-level Pinot Noir. Made only in exceptional vintages, this cuvée is a barrel selection from the oldest vines, revealing layers of red fruit, spice, and earthy complexity that unfold beautifully after nearly a decade of maturation. Winemaking:

Hand-harvested from old vines and crafted using traditional Burgundian methods, the Prima Donna is fermented naturally with approximately one-third whole bunch inclusion. Post-fermentation, the wine underwent extended maceration for depth and texture, followed by 18 months’ ageing in French oak barriques (30% new). The final blend was composed from the best barrels to create an exquisitely balanced and ageworthy wine.
