Tasting Note: A luxurious, deep ruby red colour is present in this wine. It boasts a rich and ripe fruit bouquet, with subtle notes of blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, and other wild berries. On the palate, you will experience a full-bodied and dry flavour, with a slight tannic finish that perfectly complements the juicy berry flavours from the aroma.

The various nuances of the Colli Orientali del Friuli are perfectly represented by the Martagona Moviert range.

These wines display a variety of fragrances and aromas, emblematic of the different terroir on which the vines grow. Martagona embodies all the nuances of the rich and diversified land around them.

The wines are named after 'Martagone', one of the most precious and acclaimed lily species. The name connects them to San Giuseppe, the patron saint of the church that sits atop the hill overlooking the winery. According to the Holy Scriptures, Joseph was chosen as a bridegroom, spotted amongst a crowd, because of the lily in his hand.
