These Tawny Ports are considered amongst the finest in their class, having been carefully aged for a minimum of 7 years in traditional 550 L barrels. At Niepoort, we take pride in further maturing these Colheitas for a few additional years before bottling, resulting in a truly exceptional flavour profile. A dry winter and a rainy, cold spring gave way to a long, hot, and dry summer, allowing the grapes to fully ripen. The result? Rich, full, and tannic wines of exceptional quality, making it a year for classic, widespread Vintage Port declarations.

Tasting Note: Rich in colour, with orange and brick tones that offer a delightful depth. The aroma and flavour showcase the wine's maturity, a result of extended aging in barrels. It presents hints of candied fruit, reminiscent of apricots and peaches, complemented by notes of smoke and dried fruits. On the palate, it is lively with vibrant acidity and a full body. It's engaging and leaves a long, satisfying finish.
