It showcases the character of the Baga grape variety and Bairrada region superbly, with beautiful aromas of strawberries, dried roses and some spice. The wine’s minerality is reminiscent of the vines’ calcareous soils and unmistakeable Atlantic climate. Niepoort

From 1842 up to today, six generations have been writing Niepoort’s history. Dirk (5th generation) is the current leader of the family – a role passed down to him by his father, with the challenge to “innovate while preserving good traditions”.
