2023 Alasia Brachetta d`Acqui

£9.95

This charming Piemontese classic offers a uniquely sweet, lightly fizzy red wine experience. Aromatic and vibrant, it’s a true delight for the senses.

The Brachetto grapes are hand-harvested from south-west-facing vineyards in the Monferrato hills of Asti, Piemonte. Grown on limestone clay soils at altitudes of 250-400m, the delicate vines yield small quantities of intensely flavoured fruit. After a brief skin contact to extract colour and aromatics, fermentation is carefully controlled and halted to retain natural sweetness, resulting in 5.5% alcohol and a gently sparkling character.

Pairing Suggestions: Ideal for fresh fruit salads, strawberry tarts, or creamy desserts. Perfect as an aperitif or for a summer afternoon treat.

Tasting Note: Bright and floral with aromas of crushed raspberries, violets, and rose petals. Juicy red berry flavours and light bubbles lead to a perfectly balanced, refreshing finish.

Origin: Monferrato Hills, Piemonte, Italy
