The Furd Pinot Gris 2022 is a bold Alsace white with creamy texture, pear and peach depth, offset by flinty hazelnut complexity and crisp acidity. This wine is an elegant twist on the traditional style.
From Mélanie Pfister’s Furdenheimer Tal parcel, grown on deep marl soils on west-facing slopes. This Pinot Gris embodies the estate’s heritage “historical style,” championed since Alfred Pfister’s post-war era. Hand-picked early September 2022, the grapes fermented cool in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, followed by lees ageing until summer 2023 to build texture and complexity.
Furd shines for its marriage of Alsace tradition and modern purity, delivering a Pinot Gris of creamy depth and lively tension that defies expectations.

Tasting Note: Straw yellow with silver glints in the glass. Aromas of pear, white peach and subtle smoke while the palate is lush and creamy, with flint, hazelnut and vibrant acidity. The finish is dry and refined.
