Grapes for False Bay Bush Vine Pinotage come from a single, unirrigated, 1996-planted vineyard in coastal Stellenbosch. The natural yield and balanced berries of this mature site attracted vintners, who then hand-harvested the balanced grapes and fermented them with wild yeast in large French oak casks (foudre).

These techniques create a drink that is more 'Pino' than 'Tage', and, with a simple sulphur preservative, is a vegan-friendly South African product.

Tasting Note: A rich, plummy aroma with a hint of barbecued meat. The palate is full-bodied and savoury with rustic tannins and a long finish.
