100% Tempranillo from Mayorita, El Bardal and El Rebollar in Rodezno, and Alto del Rey in Labastida. These vineyards are situated at 500-600 metres above sea level and the vines were planted on clay-limestone soils more than 40 years ago.

From a vintage rated as "excellent" the hand-harvested grapes, carefully selected in the vineyard, to ensure their pristine quality. After undergoing natural alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the resulting wine is aged for two years in new and four-year-old American oak barrels crafted by our in-house coopers. The traditional method of racking, by candlelight, is used to separate the sediment that forms during the ageing process. Finally, after bottling in May 2022, this exquisite wine is ready to be enjoyed.

Tasting Note: Vivid and rich, this ruby-hued wine impresses with its bold presence and luscious aromas of ripe red fruits like strawberries, raspberries, and redcurrants. Hints of sweet spices such as vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg add depth and complexity. On the palate, it offers a round and refreshing taste, with soft tannins and a lingering finish that perfectly captures the essence of Viña Alberdi.
