2023 Tormaresca Calafuria Rosato (Magnum)
Calafuria is crafted from vineyards along the Adriatic coast and is named after one of over 700 bays in Puglia. This delicate rosé captures the region's fruity and savoury flavours.
The 2023 vintage in Puglia was marked by a balanced growth and production of Tormaresca's vineyards. Careful soil management and a delayed harvest allowed for optimal grape ripening, leading to a rich and nuanced taste for Calafuria.
After gentle pressing and fermentation, the rosé was aged in stainless steel to preserve its aromatic profile before being bottled and released.
Tasting Note: A delicate peach blossom pink hue. On the nose, it stands out with fruity and citrus notes of pink grapefruit and white peach, complemented by pleasant sea breeze sensations and delicate hints of jasmine and iris. On the palate, it is refreshingly fresh, with excellent aromatic persistence and a delicate savoury finish.
