The 2023 Settlement Heritage Sauvignon Blanc is a single-vineyard wine that captures the essence of Marlborough’s most expressive terroir. Taken entirely from the renowned Heritage Vineyard, its 30-year-old vines and free-draining silty clay loam soils produce fruit of remarkable intensity and depth. Winemaking:

The Heritage Vineyard, located on the southern side of the Wairau Valley, is home to mature Sauvignon Blanc vines over three decades old. The free-draining soils, combined with organic farming practices, create fruit of exceptional concentration and character. A portion of the harvest was wild fermented in older French oak barriques, lending a subtle savoury note and enhanced mouthfeel, while the remainder was vinified in stainless steel using two selected yeast strains to build aromatic complexity and maintain vibrant freshness.
