2022 Soalheiro Espumante Bruto Rosé
Through research, the Soalheiro team uncovered that Touriga Nacional shows its best in their Monção and Melgaço territory, in the form of rosé; despite usually being associated with bold red wines in the Douro Valley.
This sparkling rosé is a blend of the iconic Portuguese varietal, Alvarinho, and the delicately fruity-floral flavour of Pinot Noir. The result is a light, refreshing bottle that proudly showcases the unique terroir of the region.
Tasting Note: A delicate pink salmon hue with fine and continuous effervescence, this Espumante Bruto Rosé is a distinguished and elegant expression of aromas, featuring subtle notes of fruit. The taste is intricate and enduring, characterized by a crisp minerality that refreshes the senses.
