Agricola Cianfagna

Since 1860, the Cianfagna family has been devoted to agriculture, and in 1999, they ventured into winemaking under the guidance of Vincenzo Cianfagna. Inherited from his father Pasquale, Vincenzo aims to blend tradition with innovation, producing high-quality, unique wines from grapes grown exclusively on their estate in Molise.

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Acquaviva Collecroce, their 4 hectares of vineyards sit 500 meters above sea level, benefiting from ideal conditions for Tintilia and Aglianico. The clay soil, coupled with significant day-night temperature variations and excellent ventilation, creates the perfect environment for these grape varieties.

The vineyard, meticulously managed without irrigation, focuses on quality over quantity. Careful pruning and thinning ensure the best grapes, while minimal treatments with sulphur and copper protect against pests and fungi. Vincenzo’s expertise in agronomy ensures that the grapes reach the cellar in peak condition, ready for traditional winemaking techniques with minimal intervention.
