This exceptional wine hails from what winemaker Felipe Muller describes as one of Chile’s top five Cabernet vineyards, a true testament to its outstanding pedigree.

Produced by Vina Tabalí in the Metropolitan Region, this Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted on a gentle, south-facing slope within a transversal mountain chain of the Coastal Range. Here, high daytime temperatures and cool nights allow the grapes to mature slowly, ensuring a refined and elegant character.

The vineyard’s unique location benefits from abundant native vegetation and refreshing afternoon winds from the nearby Maipo river gorge. The grapes, grown on stony colluvial soils formed by ancient fractured rocks, naturally yield low production and concentrated flavour – ideal for producing high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon.

Harvested in early April at optimum phenolic ripeness, the fruit is gently fermented in small stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures before undergoing a ten-month ageing period in French oak barrels. This meticulous process results in a wine of pure class, reflecting the dynamic terroir of its origin and the precision of Tabalí’s winemaking philosophy.
