The Cormerais family have cultivated vines for as long as anyone can remember, the passion for winemaking and grape growing has been passed down through generations since the 1800s. Today it is Bertrand who runs the business having joined his father Joel in 1994. His philosophy is very simple - he starts in the vineyard with great attention to detail to produce the very best grapes he can while maintaining great respect for the environment.

Made from 100 % Cabernet Franc, a varietal that thrives in the Loire’s cool clay and limestone soils, this wine is typically fermented in stainless steel to preserve its fresh red fruit and aromatic intensity. The winemaking focuses on clean expression with minimal oak influence, highlighting Cabernet Franc’s classic bright fruit and herbal nuance.

Tasting Note: Bright ruby in the glass with lifted red fruit aromas of cherry and raspberry, followed by subtle herb and pepper hints. The palate is juicy and fresh, with smooth, fine tannins and a vibrant finish that balances fruit intensity with refreshing acidity, ideal with grilled meats or charcuterie.
