Inspired by robust, piercing flavours, the Colman family began their journey in 1995 when Sir Michael Colman sourced rare Black Mitcham peppermint from America. Starting with a modest plot the size of a tennis court, the peppermint slowly flourished into a 100-acre playground of aromatic delight, each plant bearing a direct lineage to those first cuttings.

Adopting a slow and sustainable approach to farming, Summerdown Mint cultivates peppermint in a way that preserves the plant’s pure, invigorating taste and aroma.
