Domaine de Vedilhan (pronounced 'Domaine de Ved-ee-ohn') is the estate of the Fayet family based in the village of Moussan, close to Narbonne.

Uniquely a brook runs around the estate which provides much needed water in the very hot climate, giving the wines their freshness and appeal.

The name 'Serica', derived from the Latin word for silk, is a nod to the region's history of silk production during the 14th century, which rivaled the artistry of viticulture.

The grapes used for 'Serica' Viognier are carefully selected at peak ripeness, with two-thirds of the harvest being fermented in mature French oak barrels, imparting a delicate texture and opulence.

Tasting Note: Bitter-sweet crystalised orange peel aromas with powerful yet retrained flavours on the palate. Barrel-fermentation brings subtle texture and richness rather than a dominant oaky flavour, leaving rich stone fruits to shine through. The finish is complex, satisfying and well-balanced.
